I’m here to reassure you that it’s okay to not be okay. I help women through tough, difficult spots so they can finally discover the life they deserve.
I bring compassion and a kind heart to your journey of healing and personal growth. Through pain and joy and transformation, I’m so glad you are here.
Maybe you feel stuck after a loved one has died. Everyone else seems to have moved on while you are still trying to deal with lingering pain and sadness.
Maybe you are just going through the motions, putting on a brave face. You appear it have it all together on the outside, but on the inside it feels like you are unraveling.
Or maybe you are a new mom whose identity has shifted. You are no longer a career woman, and you thought this was all going to be a lot easier.
Do you have any resources for me to review before our first session?
What are your qualifications and methods?
What are your fees? Do you accept insurance?
Do you work with couples or in family therapy?
When are you able to take appointments?
What can I expect from my first session with you?
Let's dive into some questions I get asked most often here.
The first session is longer (75-mins) than regular (50-mins) ongoing sessions due to review of intake questionnaire, office policies, goals for therapy and treatment planning.
The heart of the session is hearing your story, learning about you, understanding your concerns and struggles. I’m your sounding board, actively listening and supporting you while also being curious, asking questions, and responding to you with care. It's our time to build a therapeutic relationship with connection and purpose.
My office hours are T-TH, 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM. I am also available for virtual therapy sessions by appointment only.
My office is located in Scottsdale @ El Dorado Square.
6619 N. Scottsdale Rd.
Suite 17.
Scottsdale, AZ 85250

$130 for 50-minute ongoing sessions.*
$65 for 30-minute telephone support.*
* These services are offered to established clients.
Fees may be adjusted upon request. Please talk with me about a sliding scale, if needed.
I do not accept insurance. I work with my clients on a private pay basis. Private pay allows you to maintain your privacy. However, I can work with you as an out of network provider if you would like to use your insurance for reimbursement. Using insurance requires that I assign you a mental health diagnosis which becomes a part of your medical record. Some people are comfortable with this and others are not. If you would like to use your insurance for reimbursement, contact your insurance provider to determine your out of network benefits.
Credit, Debit, and Cash are all acceptable forms of payment. If you do want to pay with cash, please bring exact change. I can also accept your HSA or Flexible Spending cards as payment.
If we are not able to meet right away, or you are looking for more therapeutic resources, I often send these resources to my clients for further insight and personal development. These resources are in no way substitutes for therapy, but rather are supplementary to therapy.
